Ben Shephard is taking some time off from This Morning.
The presenter announced the break to viewers on Thursday's (November 7) show. Ben said he'll be away from the studio for a couple of weeks as he is jetting off across the world to film a new project for ITV.
It prompted his co-host Cat Deeley to speculate whether he was heading Down Under to be a campmate in the I'm A Celebrity jungle. Ben said: "I have some news to share.

"I'm taking a couple of weeks away to go and work on this exciting project for ITV. It's top secret. I'm going to the other side of the world now after the show. I can't say where it is though."
Cat asked him: "Are you going to be eating witchetty grubs? Are you going to see my two mates?" to which he replied: "I cannot confirm or deny where in the world I am going. I can't confirm or deny who I'm going to see."
However, Ben assured fans it wouldn't be long before he returned and would tell them all what he was doing. He said: "On Monday's show when you're here with Alison, I will be able to confirm where I am in the world. See you in a few weeks!"
Ben moved to This Morning earlier this year, leaving Good Morning Britain behind, where he hosted alongside Susanna Reid and Kate Garraway. He now presents This Morning on Mondays to Thursdays with Cat. However, Alison Hammond - who presents the show with Dermot O'Leary on a Friday - will be standing in for Ben next Monday.
Ben and Cat were joined by chef James Martin, who showed them the best cheeses ahead of the festive season, on Thursday's show. James also told viewers how to make the perfect roast potatoes and how to make brussels sprouts more popular as an addition to a Christmas dinner.
Ben also tried some of the King's favourite wellness treatments, one which saw him have oil poured onto his forehead and hairline on live television.
