When it comes to knitwear, it doesn’t get much better than a cashmere jumper - a wardrobe staple that blends luxury with warmth, style and versatility. And Cat Deeley has seemingly found the perfect sweater for cosy winter styling - and shoppers say it’s ‘elegant’ and ‘excellent quality’.

On last Monday’s episode of This Morning (November 25), Cat appeared alongside Andi Peters, presenting the show in a knit from The White Company. While the brand may be best known for their candles and perfumes, it’s their Cashmere Layering Funnel Neck Jumper that’s been a hit with the 48-year-old and fellow customers.

The mum-of-two wore the oatmeal marl version of the jumper, which costs £120. It also comes in a pale pink and charcoal marl, with shoppers having bought multiple shades to wear on repeat.

The ‘high quality’ piece is said to be ‘lightweight but warm’, making it the ideal layer for daytime dressing. Made from pure cashmere certified by The Good Cashmere Standard, it has some really elevated features, such as rolled edges on the cuffs, which makes this super-soft knit a standout staple.

On The White Company website, shoppers have praised the jumper for its warmth and quality, giving it a 4.7 star rating. One said: “This is the most beautiful quality item, such a great layer for almost any time of year, a real staple piece for everyone’s wardrobe!”

Another added: “Incredibly soft, light as a feather, but warm as toast, feels like I am wearing a touch of luxury. Perfect combination of softness, lightness, and warmth is exactly what we need for chilly days.”

While a third penned: “This jumper is beautiful. The shade of pink flattering and the size a good fit (I bought an 8). It feels very soft and it is very warm. I have another one in black and I wear them both regularly.”

Some have commented that the jumper isn’t as thick as they’d have liked, adding: “This jumper is beautifully soft and elegant although very see through so you may have to wear a camisole underneath. I love it.”

But another commented: “This is featherweight cashmere, beautifully soft and warm, and perfect for a top layer. The funnel neck is large enough not to be tight and looks elegant. I bought XS, my usual size, and it is a perfect fit. I'm very pleased with this jumper.”

One even said it’s ‘so comfy you almost forget you’re wearing it’, commenting: “This was my first purchase from The White Company and I can happily say I’m not disappointed! I plan on taking good care of this beautiful jumper and wearing it for many years to come. Excellent quality, super soft and so comfy you almost forget you’re wearing it!”

Cat paired her jumper with a pair of Wool Belted Wide-Leg Trousers in Neutral from Reiss, which cost £198. But these versatile knits will go with almost anything, including satin skirts and jeans.

Elsewhere, Marks and Spencer's Pure Cashmere Roll Neck Jumper from their Autograph collection is a more affordable option. Not to mention that it comes in a range of colours, including red, green marl and fuchsia. It costs £95, and has a 4.1 star rating based on more than 100 reviews.

Cheaper still is the 100% Cashmere Turtleneck Jumper from Uniqlo, coming in at £89.90. This one comes in 17 colours, with matching items available like scarves, hats and gloves for a cohesive look. Or you can shop Cat Deeley’s exact knit from The White Company here.
