It has been reported that three people have been "detained" in connection to Liam Payne's death last month. The former One Direction singer passed away last month after falling from his hotel room balcony in Argentina.
According to ABC World News, they claim that two hotel workers are among three detained in the investigation.
An initial post-mortem examination said that Liam died instantly due to multiple traumas, with "internal and external haemorrhage".
The 31 year old's death reportedly sparked raids on the homes of two hotel employees and a “friend” of the tragic singer. Law enforcement sources have told TMZ raids on two hotel workers were carried out on Tuesday (05.11.24) night.
The outlet also claimed lockers of the staffers at the hotel where Liam died were also searched. Police are said to believe the employees had been in contact with the singer before he plunged 45ft to his death.

Liam had travelled to Argentina last month for his former One Direction bandmate Niall Horan’s solo concert, and his influencer girlfriend Kate Cassidy, 25, had been with him on the trip – but left to go back to her home in America 48 hours before he was found dead.
On Monday 4 November, his body was flown back to the United Kingdom and inside sources close to the Payne family have revealed that a "lavish service of remembrance" is being put together.
Liam became a dad to Bear back in 2017 during his two-year romance with Girls Aloud star and former 'The X Factor' judge Cheryl.
