Bravo fans take their shows extremely seriously. But when it comes to the Real Housewives franchise, it is at a whole new level. Most fans, like me, have been watching the same cities for decades. A true Bravo fan quotes their favorite housewife on the daily and knows where certain locations are filmed. Bravo fans are a whole new breed regarding reality TV, and none of us would have it any other way. But there are a few tell signs that give most of us away. Keep reading to find out what they are. I am guilty of all of these!

A fan must Google all Real Housewives outfits

I have found myself going to Envy, POSCHE, or The Sutton Concept in hopes of finding that same shirt Melissa Gorga or Sutton Stracke wore in their confessionals. Sometimes, I admit, I’m lucky. Other times, I head over to Big Blonde Hair and quickly realize that their Real Housewives wardrobe is out of my league and budget. But there is something about the allure of the Bravo cameras and the specific outfit each star chooses. They just look so pretty. (I know, such a word smith over here.) Each housewife has a unique style that fans either love or hate. I love Gina Kirschenheiter’s gold confessional dress. She definitely has the Midas touch! However, I’m not a fan of Meredith Marks’s fashion choices because, let’s be honest, what she chooses to put on her body is a choice.

A true Real Housewives fan can’t resist looking up an outfit, especially when a housewife looks effortlessly great in it. We think, “Maybe this will translate to our closet,” forgetting they have a professional stylist at the beck and call. Whenever I step foot into Envy, I hear Missy G saying, “I can tell you’re green with envy, and honey, green is not your color.” Okay, so what is my color!?

Real Housewives fans must research the hotels they stay in and look at ratings

It’s one thing to figure out a Real Housewives favorite haunt. For me, it was knowing I lived 15 minutes away from the Franklin Lakes Market Basket at the height of its cameos on the Real Housewives of New Jersey. But have you seen some of these accommodations that the women choose to vacation in? Shortly after, Luann de Lesseps fell into a bush, but before she brought back the Johnny Depp lookalike, I googled my heart out and tried to find that St. Barts villa. The six-bedroom villa had more than enough room for everyone.

However, at $80,000 a week, it was out of my budget. But the resort has gotten stunning reviews. I also loved the RHONY Salem trip pitstop at the Hawthorne Hotel. It was more of a viewer’s style and much more affordable. Between keeping up with Real Housewives restaurants, bars, and vacation destinations, a fan could find themselves deep down the rabbit hole. I just love checking all the hotels on Yelp to see if anyone has personally complained, but I have yet to find one who did.

A Real Housewives fan has to know which designers are real and which are fake

There are a plethora of Real Housewives stars who enjoy the finer things in life. But there are also just as many who think they can pull one over on fans and wear a fake designer, aka a Fucci. Now, we all know the series’ premise is to showcase wealthy elite women with fabulous connections to the fashion industry. But many are accused of wearing a knockoff collaboration instead of the real thing. Now you bet I am on this one like flies to honey. I love my real designer bag, and it annoys me that these women pretend to be something they are not.

Luckily, we have social media pages dedicated to calling out the questionable star. More often than not, Teresa Giudice has tried to trick fans. But we know. Oh, we know. Tre has sported dupes of Balenciaga, Chanel, Gucci, and Louis Vuitton during her time in the spotlight. Even Ramona Singer was once called out for buying a handbag on Canal Street. Who could have guessed that watching well-dressed Real Housewives get called out for their alleged cheapness would bring such joy to fans?
