Tim Cook Confirms Apple Intelligence Will Arrive in India This April With iOS 18.4 Update

Apple Intelligence Requires a Workaround-For Now

At the moment, Indian users who want to access Apple Intelligence features have to rely on a workaround. This extra step has made AI features accessible to a limited group of users but is far from ideal.

That will change in April when Apple rolls out official support for localized English in India. With this update, Indian users will be able to enable Apple Intelligence features without modifying their region or language settings, making AI-driven tools seamlessly available on compatible Apple devices.

Apple has positioned AI as a key factor in iPhone adoption, and the upcoming India rollout could push more users to upgrade.
