The NFL world was treated to a halftime spectacular show by Beyonce this Christmas, but for some the show was well below par.
The former Destiny's Child star took to the pitch at halftime at Houston's NRG Stadium during Baltimore Ravens' game against the Houston Texans, which the latter won 31-2. Despite featuring tunes from her new album, Cowboy Carter, her performance was dealt a blow as fans complained online.
However, one staunch fans was quick to jump to her defence - her mum. Tina Knowles, 70, blasted "obsessed" haters online after they aired their discontent. Reposting an image to Instagram of a fan's reaction to the haters of Beyoncé's performance, Tina agreed with the statement which said "no matter how undeniably talented you are, people will always, ALWAYS, always have some negative ish to say".
The post went on: "The amount of hatred, and trolling this woman can receive for a FLAWLESS FREAKING PERFORMANCE is unreal to me. Moral of the story is do you. If Beyoncé ain't worried about the haters, you shouldn't be worried either. Go be great." Tina added to the post, saying: "My sentiments exactly!

Obviously you are so obsessed with them, addicted to them, and secretly admire them, wish you could be them, that you cannot help but to watch and critique and comment and say dumb ridiculous stuff that makes you look like a joke!!"
She added: "So go to another channel when it's halftime watch goofy cartoons or Bozo the clown or something you can relate to and see yourself in. Said with love. PS I have learned so much from her warrior spirit, of when they go low I work harder 'No weapon formed against me shall prosper' one, two, three waiting for the fake bots to come'."
The global superstar had made a grand entrance to the field of play by riding a white horse, wearing a feathered white gown and a western hat. She began her showstopping performance with the song '16 Carriages' and continued with other tracks like 'Blackbird,' 'Ya Ya,' and 'My House,' all with impressive visuals and dancing.
She was joined in the performance by daughter Blue Ivy, 12. During the 15-minute, eight-song medley, Beyonce almost suffered a wardrobe malfunction. In footage shared on Twitter/X, the star struggled with her jacket as her team rushed to assist her. She tried a number of times to place her right arm into the coat but was unsuccessful. After multiple failed attempts, Beyoncé gave up, and clapped her hands.
