Southern Hospitality Season 3 has been on fire. The cast seems to be hitting their stride by keeping it real and bringing plenty of drama. However, for stars TJ Dinch and Bradley Carter, filming the newest season hasn’t been all sunshine and roses. And because of all the drama, the two friends are now closer than ever, which undoubtedly helped them get through their most challenging season yet.
TJ Dinch says this summer “didn’t work out exactly how we wanted it to”
We are only a few episodes into Season 3 and already so much has happened. TJ still has unresolved issues with Joe Bradley over the hook-up rumors with Real Housewives of New York alum Luann de Lesseps.
And it’s Emmy Sharrett and Will Kulp versus the group yet again, which puts Brad and TJ in an awkward position. So, how do Brad and TJ feel now?
The two dished to Collider this season was a “hard one” and an “unsuspecting one.” Brad said, “I didn’t think things would be the way they are currently … It’s sad and unfortunate, but you know, I think that there was a lot of growth this season, too. It was very transformative and very just overall like a unique experience this summer.”
And it should come as no surprise that the duo is not on good terms with Emmy and Will. TJ said, “At the moment, you know, we are not close with them. It was a hard summer for both me and Brad. It didn’t work out exactly how we wanted it to.”
Brad added, “There needs to be some changes in our friend group, in our relationships, before we can really move forward. We’re definitely looking for a resolution, not a house divided permanently.”
Still, it wasn’t all doom and gloom. TJ said this season was also “rewarding.” He shared, “I’ve worked through a lot of things with a lot of different people … Brad and I both had to work things through with friendships and new problems within friendships.”
Southern Hospitality continues Thursdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
