The Only Way Is Essex stars James 'Diags' Bennewith and Jodie Wells have reportedly split up for good after two years together.
Fans have been hooked by their relationship on the show. They have been on-off for several years, but last series, Diags gave her a key to his flat, which she previously admitted she 'did not expect' as they joked about how she didn't have a key to his house.
"I didn’t realise he was actually going to ask me to move in. I am going to move in, but it just takes time. I’ve got a little boy. Everything needs to be right," she said in a chat with OK! last year. Speaking about the move from Bristol to Essex, she added: "Yeah, it is a big move. It isn’t like 20 minutes down the road. But I do want it. I do want to take time and make sure it is right."
And now, it has been reported that their relationship crumbled as the duo decided to split for good despite Jodie's preparation to move to Essex. "The pair have been desperately trying to make things work, but just couldn't keep things on track and have decided to split," the insider recently claimed.
"There was a big disagreement over moving in together, but in the end, it wasn't just that," they added to The Sun. "They hadn't been getting on for a while and they were very different people." The Mirror have reached out to their reps for comment.
Fans of the couple recently noticed how the duo unfollowed each other on Instagram. Some even took to her most recent post to share their support. One user said: "I'm sorry to hear about you and diags fresh goals fresh times," while another posted: "Oh noooooo why have you split , he was punching to be fair , your beautiful."
"Sorry to hear about you & diags....your amazing don't ever forget that," one user commented. During her chat with OK! last year, she said she 'liked where James lives now' while discussing house hunting.
"I would like somewhere a little bit more quiet. A bit more countryside. Somewhere you feel like it would be quite a nice place to bring up a child and I feel like it could be good for James as well. It’s bringing him away slightly from the party lifestyle, and to think about more of a family lifestyle," she said.
