Such a gentleman! Lala Kent revealed Travis Kelce made sure not to touch female stars when posing for photos while he hosted Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?, calling the gesture “respectful.”
“We take a group picture, and Travis — I’m next to him and I’m pregnant — I believe [he] had two girls on each of his sides. And when he put his arms around us, he did not touch,” the Vanderpump Rules star, 34, revealed on the Monday, November 4, episode of her “Give Them Lala” podcast.
“Which I thought was very, very sweet,” Lala added, especially since his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, had stopped by the set to visit the NFL star, 35, on the day she taped.
“They were going to have lunch together,” the Bravolebrity shared, saying Taylor, 34, headed to Travis’ trailer before their mid-afternoon date.
Lala said Travis nailed it as host of the show, revealing how he was “absolutely hysterical, even without a teleprompter.”
She added, “You can just tell when people are actually really fun and funny, and I think you can kind of tell in his relationship with T. Swift, like they just look like they’re having fun.”
Fellow celebrity panelist Garcelle Beauvais previously detailed how Taylor visited Travis while he worked on the show, while also praising his hosting skills and handsome appearance.
“She did come on set. Not the day that I was there, but she came. I think it’s really sweet,” the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star told Entertainment Tonight on August 15.
“He was fantastic. Like, game show host? I wasn’t sure, but he didn’t overdo it, he didn’t under-sell it, he was himself, he had fun and it was great,” Garcelle said about working with Travis.
She added that the Super Bowl champ’s good looks had people on the set swooning. “My glam team was like, ‘Oh my God, he’s fine.’ Everyone on set was like, ‘He’s so fine,'” she recalled, adding, “I don’t want the Swifties coming for me, though!”
The Kansas City Chiefs star gushed about how much it meant to him to have his girlfriend’s encouragement as he took on the hosting gig in his off-season.
“Taylor was there and obviously I always love having Taylor’s support,” Travis told Entertainment Tonight on October 9, ahead of the show’s Prime Video premiere on October 16.
He continued, “I’ve always had that support from my family and friends. I do the same for them in every way of life that I can, and I’m just very fortunate in that for sure.”
A source told Life & Style on February 22 that Taylor had set down some dating rules for Travis, although touching other women in photos wasn’t one of them.
“Travis is fine with Taylor giving him her thoughts and opinions on how to navigate such a public relationship. He really does appreciate it,” the insider shared. “He’s not so happy with some of the restrictions she wants in place, though.”
“Friends claim that Taylor has asked Travis to FaceTime her, not just text, when they’re apart,” said the source, noting that “she didn’t overtly say it, but she secretly wants to see where he is and who he’s with. Taylor’s a good judge of character and fears that some of his buddies are red flags.”
However, neither she nor Travis was telling the other who they can or can’t associate with, noted the source. “That would be a relationship deal breaker for both of them.”
