Every time Travis Kelce has a football game coming up, fans tend to wonder if his pop superstar girlfriend, Taylor Swift, will be attending, and his upcoming postseason game is no different.
Kelce, 35, and the Kansas City Chiefs are set to play their first playoff game of the season against the Houston Texans at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on Saturday, January 18, and the tight end recently confirmed that Swift, also 35, will be attending.
The NFL pro appeared on the Monday, January 13, episode of The Pat McAfee Show and spoke about the upcoming game. During the episode, McAfee asked Kelce, "Is there going to be an aura in that place, a little bit extra? You know what we're talking about," alluding to Swift. Kelce answered and said, "Oh yeah, you know it, baby," before adding, "It's playoff football, man."
McAfee also mentioned that the Chiefs have a good track record when the "Blank Space" singer attends their games, saying, "She rolls into that stadium, I just want to let you know what live bettors do. They see her walk into that stadium and immediately open the phone, like, 'Yup, Chiefs are about to win.' That is just literally the feel."
Later in the episode, Kelce seemingly implied that Swift has been working on new music and admitted that "there might be a few" new songs in the works. The three-time Super Bowl champion was then asked if he had heard any of the new songs, to which he responded, "You know I can't say, you know I can't say... any of that."
Swift was most recently spotted alongside her parents and Kelce's mother, Donna Kelce, at the Chiefs' game against the Texans in Missouri on December 21. The Chiefs have only lost three of the 20 games that Swift has attended, including the 2024 Super Bowl.
