Taylor Swift fans have been charmed by a clip of her beau, Travis Kelce, spending time with her family, saying it's a "good omen" for their future.
The clip doing the rounds on social media shows the Kansas City Chiefs star chatting to Swift's brother, Austin, and mom, Andrea, as they all attended one of her Eras Tour shows. In the video, Swift is performing onstage and Kelce makes his way through the crowd to reach her relatives on the sidelines.
When he gets to Austin the pair throw their arms around each other for a hug, with Kelce patting him on the back. The sports star then turns to Andrea and leans in to chat, with his hand resting on her back.
While it was filmed from too far off to hear what was said, Swifties loved the glimpse of their interaction and posted messages on X saying that the fact they were all so cosy together bodes well for Kelce and Swift.
"Great video to wake up to," posted one excited fan, as another commented: "Say it: this is one big family, this is her future husband. It's not news, it's a fact, that Austin Travis hug says everything we needed to know."
Someone else said it was "sweet" and another fan remarked: "I love that Tay's family loves Travis and Trav's family loves Taylor. Good omen for a strong partnership."
Another fan agreed: "Something about that hug with Austin says everything!! Then he is so sweet with Andrea and they all seem very comfortable with one another."
"Superb," said someone else, agreeing that it was a "good omen." Another called it "cute," and one person joked "MIL and BIL," suggesting that Andrea and Austin would be Kelce's future mother-in-law and brother-in-law.
"It's a fact though, so now we wait," said another Swiftie.
The Karma singer was first romantically linked to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end in the summer of 2023, and that September she was spotted supporting him as the Chiefs took on the Chicago Bears.
Both celebs played their cards close to their chests, but in December 2023, Swift confirmed their relationship status during an interview.
"By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple," the star told Time magazine.
Discussing dating in the public eye, she went on: "When you say a relationship is public, that means I'm going to see him do what he loves, we're showing up for each other, other people are there and we don't care. The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you're seeing someone. And we're just proud of each other."
Newsweek has emailed representatives for Swift and Kelce for comment.
