Travis Scott's Cactus Jack collective and record label has been named the presenting partner for the third annual Abloh Invitational.
The event will feature custom-designed skate obstacles and co-branded merchandise, all collaborations between Cactus Jack and Virgil Abloh Securities and Architecture, the creative outlet founded by the late Abloh and directed by his widow Shannon.
Alongside free skate lessons, screen printing workshops, and a demo featuring professional skaters, the invitational will feature an open skate session with a DJ and music lineup.
It's set to take place on Dec. 7 at the Lot 11 Skatepark in Miami.
“We’re thrilled to be bringing the Abloh Invitational back to Miami for a third year,” Shannon Abloh said in a press statement shared with Complex.
"To be able to give back to the community through an activity that heavily influenced Virgil in his creative endeavors is an immense privilege," Abloh continued. "We hope to continue doing this for years to come and are eagerly anticipating the skating world’s return to the Lot 11 park this weekend.”
The Abloh Invitational began in 2022, one year after Virgil Abloh's death at age 41 following a battle with cancer.
