Trump Promises to End ‘Transgender Lunacy’

President-elect Donald Trump has promised to end “transgender lunacy” with an executive order as soon as he takes office.

“I will sign executive orders to end child sexual mutilation, get transgender out of the military and out of our elementary schools and middle schools and high schools,” he said at a Turning Point USA event for young conservatives in Phoenix, Arizona.

He continued to say that he will “keep men out of women’s sports,” adding that “it will be the official policy of the United States government that there are only two genders, male and female.”

“We’re going to stop the transgender lunacy. Under the Trump Administration, it will be the official policy of the US government that there are only two genders: MALE and FEMALE.”

During his first term, Trump introduced the country’s first-ever transgender military ban in 2019. Two years later, the ban as overturned by Joe Biden but Trump says he plans to reintroduce the ban.

“I will ban the Department of Veterans Affairs from wasting a single cent to fund transgender surgeries or sex-change procedures,” he said during his presidential campaign. “Those precious taxpayer dollars should be going to care for our veterans in need, not to refund radical gender experiments for the communist left. I’ll also restore the ban on transgender in the military… we had it banned.”
