Tulisa Contostavlos has revealed she knew before her campmates she was being evicted from I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
She revealed that she had anticipated her early exit, citing the challenging jungle conditions as a significant factor. Tulisa mentioned that the environment was more demanding than she had expected, leading to moments of frustration and confrontations with the production team over what she deemed unacceptable living standards.
She emphasised that these behind-the-scenes disputes were not aired, as they were resolved off-camera. The singer appeared on fellow campmate GK Barry’s Saving Grace podcast to share behind-the-scenes stories from their time in the jungle.
Explaining why she expected to be eliminated, Tulisa shared: "One thing a lot of people didn't know - you know you can tell how much airtime you're getting by how much you're getting called to the Bushtucker Telegraph and how many questions they ask you? Because you're narrating what's being aired. And in the days running up to it I wasn't getting called as much to the BT and then I wasn't get asked as many questions, so I was like, 'Ah'."

So in my mind I was like I might end up going because I knew I wasn't getting much airtime." The musician also recounted how producers asked her to put on her shorts, but she refused because of the cold. GK laughed, admitting, "They just stopped bothering to ask you. They were like, 'She's just not going to do it.'"
Tulisa chimed in, saying, "I feel like I was the rebel." GK agreed, adding, "They just knew you weren't going to have their sh*t. We were all pushovers, but you stood your ground." Speaking about one of the producers, Tulisa explained: "She’s very to the point, very like, 'Right, you’re doing this, you’ve got to go over there, film this.' Doesn’t work too well with me. As soon as I saw the attitude, I was like, ‘Wrong one.’"
Tulisa also shared a particular incident with GK, recalling: "Remember when they used to put the towels over our heads to get us to the next destination? Obviously, don’t mess with the lashes, so the towel had to be relatively above the lashes. And she [the producer] was like, 'No, seen enough already,' and tried to pull the towel down." Reenacting how she responded, Tulisa said, "No, back up, don’t touch."

GK confirmed, saying, "Even in the challenge, she goes, ‘Hi, Tulisa,’" gesturing how the producer waved at the singer. GK laughed, adding: "I remember saying to you, ‘What the f**k have you done? Why is she so nice to you?’" Tulisa replied, "Because I was like, ‘Don’t mess with me. I’m the wrong one.’"
Tulisa also expressed her frustrations about jungle protocols, such as sharing how many times she'd gone to "the dunny" – their nickname for the jungle toilet. She said: "It would obviously come up at the end of the day how many times you’ve gone to the loo. I wasn’t happy about that. Poor ITV dealing with me, I went: 'I’m not having my bladder movements put on national TV. You’re going to have to change this!'"
Tulisa continued: "And then I was like, ‘GK is on her period. You’re not charging her to use the dunny to change her tampon. That’s tampon tax, and it’s unacceptable!’ And the next day, it was gone!" On her way out of the jungle, earlier this month, Tulisa told Ant and Dec it was "hard in there" as she found jungle life tough. She said it was a "whirlwind" and she couldn't believe what she'd achieved.
"You're just going to be more grateful for everything. The food you eat, the people that you love... you don't realise how good you've got it," she said. She also said it was "testing" in there, but she stayed true to herself.
