TV bride explains what really happened after inviting ex-husband to festival

Married at First Sight UK couple Kristina Goodsell and Kieran Chapman fell head over heels for each other after their wedding day. But when the cracks started to show, their marriage fell apart.

During the Married at First Sight UK reunion, it was their last chance to tell each other some last words on the sofa. Kristina ended up inviting ex-husband Kieran to a festival with her – which he gladly accepted.

Kristina Goodsell invited her ex-husband, Kieran Chapman, to a festival. She revealed she had bought two tickets to the event, thinking she’d have a husband to walk out of MAFS with and bring along.

Agreeing to be friends and put boundaries in place, Kieran gladly accepted the invite and admitted he’d “never been to a festival before.” However, they never ended up going to the event together.

Kristina wrote on her Instagram Story, “He didn’t unfortunately come with me to the festival through no fault of or own, we were advised not to go, I of course still went.”

Kieran also shared an update to his Story of the festival situ. He said, “DID WE GO TO THE FESTIVAL? Unfortunately not, Kristina actually had the whole weekend planned out.”

“I took time off work and was going to, however we were both advised that it would not have been wise to be seen together whilst the show was airing,” Kieran added.

Kristina admitted that, while it was “hard for her to hear” Kieran had dated someone for three weeks after leaving the experiment, the E4 show did not air the entirety of their conversation.

Having told him she hadn’t gone on dates, she wrote on her Story: “Some truths. When the ‘dating situ’ came up last night, it wasn’t shown that I said I had been intimate with someone.”

“I didn’t want a message from Kieran every single second of the day, Kieran is a shocking texter and I went a while with no contact, just wanted a quick catch up every now and again. I’m not that needy.”

Kieran agreed and equally wrote on his page: “@kristinagoodsell is not as needy as she’s been made out in the final edit… She had her s*** together, to the point where I didn’t even know her PMDD was in play.”

“Please remember this whole experiment as amazing as it was, is highly edited.” He also confirmed, “Even though me and Stina did not work as a married couple, we remain very good friends.”
