Erin and Abe Lichy are expecting baby number 4! The announcements a few months after they filmed for RHONY, when they faced “deeper” marriage issues after Abe sold their Bitcoin.

With three children to look after and filming the Bravo show at a low point in their marriage, it’s certainly been an overwhelming time for the pair. Abe told Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast of their struggles.

“We had a handbag business. This was something I left my law firm to start with Erin. We put all our money into it, self-funded it, and it got to a point where we weren’t making any money from it,” he said.

Abe added, “We had our second child, and my father was sick for three years with brain cancer and had just passed away. We had no cash, and so we had all the debt from our business.”

He noted that “part of” the reason he didn’t tell Erin about selling their Bitcoin was because he felt a responsibility to “provide” for her, and didn’t want to take it from their joint checking account.

“I sent it and paid for the debt, and we ended up talking about it because she found out about the Bitcoin,” he said. Erin later explained on WWHL it amounted to a “good amount of money”.

They feuded over Bitcoin sale

When Erin found out Abe had sold their Bitcoin, she was not happy. It led to “deeper” issues” within their 12-year marriage, but it ended up being a “liberating” moment for the couple thanks to honesty.

Even though Abe was “in the dog house for a long time,” he explained, “I started my own law firm, but it took several years to start making real money again, so we had more kids, more bills, and still the debt.”

“And it was just a bunch of small things that, at a certain point, I just stopped telling her about it because I didn’t want to add pressure to her,” Abe added, although Erin said she’d rather have communication.
