Made In Chelsea is back this October with lots of returning faces. While some of the E4 stars have been on the show for many years, others are back for their second series. For longtime MIC fans, seeing Sophie Hermann back in the cast is likely a sight for sore eyes, but she reportedly returned to the series this year under one condition.

Sophie Hermann is all smiles as her return is teased during Made In Chelsea series 28 episode 1. The 37-year-old appears to be in fabulous spirits as she makes an appearance dressed to the nines. Although Sophie is brimming with energy during her return, it turns out she was super serious about the conditions on which she’d be coming back to film.

There’s so much packed into Made In Chelsea series 28’s first episode that although Sophie Hermann is back in the cast, fans haven’t actually gotten to see her yet.

The OG star of the E4 show is seen in the upcoming clips of the season, where she dons a chic black and white dress and says: “I heard somebody had some spunken in their faces,” before Ruby Adler runs and hugs her.

Sophie is clearly good friends with many of the show’s cast members, but she revealed to OK! that there’s one person she “refused to film with.”

MIC star ‘refused to film with Maeva’

This October, Sohpie revealed she “refused” to share the screen with fellow MIC cast member Maeva D’Ascanio. Her reasoning for avoiding Maeva at all costs? Well, it’s pretty gross, actually.

The 37-year-old accused Maeva of once “spitting on her mink.”

Speaking to OK!, Sophie explained: “I’m not filming with people who spat on my mink. No mink spitters… It’s in my contract. Grandma’s mink is getting out unscathed this time.”

The star makes reference to ‘mink gate’, which saw her and Maeva arguing and as Maeva is speaking, Sophie asks her to “stop spitting on her mink.”

Sophie made her Made In Chelsea debut over 10 years ago, while Maeva joined in 2019. The two “clashed” many times in the past. But, now, it seems Sophie has officially drawn a line.

The two won’t be caught on camera together any time soon. Fans can expect to see Sophie filming with her besties Gareth and Ollie Locke. Maeva is in the midst of drama right from the off, it seems, as the ‘Maeva, James, Miles’ love triangle continues to linger despite she and James now having a son together.
