Now, she explains some âvery dark momentsâ sheâs experienced while her podcast co-host and pal, Tamra Judge, reveals she often fears the worst for her loved ones.
As Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge, 57, take to their Two Ts In a Pod podcast this fall, Tamra explains sheâs been diagnosed as âbeing on the spectrum.â Tamra details how she has started therapy in her fifties while adding how Teddi âcame upâ in one of her sessions.
Teddi Mellencampâs cancer battle
Since 2022, Teddi Mellencamp has been enduring a melanoma battle.
The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star exclusively spoke to E! News this fall about her stage 2 skin cancer diagnosis.
Teddi has been through 16 surgeries after initially having a âsmallâ symptom of the disease, including getting 800 stitches in her back at one point.

Speaking to E!, Teddi explained the thoughts she has experienced during her cancer battle: âYou have very dark moments where you think âWhat if I donât make it? What does that mean for my children? What does that mean for my husband? What does that mean for my business?'â
The RHOBH alum also took to Instagram this September to explain she also deals with anxiety.
The reality TV star says she takes things âone step at a time,â as she navigates anxiety while also dealing with cancer.

During Two Ts In a Podâs October 15 episode, Tamra tells Teddi how sheâs been in therapy lately.
The Real Housewives of Orange County star tells her bestie: âYou were brought up.â
Teddi laughs: âWell, Teddiâs OCD diagnosed and she really hammers down on scheduling andâŚâ
Tamra asserts: âNo, it was about anxiety. I have really bad intrusive thoughts and I have scenarios play out in my headâŚâ
The reality star breaks down in tears and says: âItâs always about death, and itâs always about people around me dyingâŚâ
Tamra explains how she told her therapist about Teddi: âMy best friend has anxiety⌠she canât drive but I admire her so much. I always think âWhy am I the dumb one?â thatâs just my own insecurity.â
Teddi said she often thinks âinsecureâ thoughts herself, such as: âWhy am I not the strong one?â
However, she details her way of âsurvivingâ speaking to E! this fall.
Teddi, who is a wellness coach, tells the outlet how her ââŚgo-to self-care is taking a walk, meditating or journaling.â
She explains that she also has days where she âlets herself crash.â
âI have these three hours to myself, Iâm going to let myself have a little cry, feel these emotions⌠Then itâs easier to process than when you pretend that everythingâs perfect all the timeâ she adds.
