TV star 'cries tears of joy' as new man enters family's lives

Kathy Hilton’s niece, Alexia Umansky, is finally engaged! Her half-sister, Kyle Richards, announced the happy news on social media, welcoming her fiance Jake Zingerman into their family.

Kyle Richards is all set to become a mother-in-law. Alexia Umansky, who stars on Buying Beverly Hills, has just said yes after her partner, Jake Zingerman, asked her to marry him, and her auntie is elated.

When Kathy Hilton‘s niece, Alexia Umansky, announced her engagement to Jake Zingerman on social media, she responded, “I am crying tears of joy. My heart is full of happiness for our family.”

Richards replied with heart emojis on the post, which included photos of her daughter’s engagement party. Alexia and Jake began dating five years ago but have known each other since childhood.

Kyle confirmed this in a June 4 Amazon Live stream, when she was asked if Alexia was “getting engaged soon.” She said, “She’s not [engaged] yet but I do think that’s going to happen. I really do.”

Kyle said at the time, “Alexia has been friends with Jake since second grade — best friends — but they’ve been dating for four years, almost five years now. They are a very, very, very cute couple.”

Adding they are “great together,” Richards spoke fondly of Jake and said, “And we just love him so much. And [Jake] also happens to have the same birthday as me, which is funny.”

The post also received love from Kathy’s youngest daughter, Nicky Hilton; family friend Kris Jenner; and multiple Bravolebs, including The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Meghan King.

Alexia Umansky’s BF welcomed by family

Alexia Umansky’s boyfriend, Jake, has officially been welcomed into the Richards and Hilton family, even though he’s “always been part of” it. Now, it’s an official status as Umansky’s fiance.

During a candle-lit evening, he got down on one knee and asked Umansky to marry him. The entire home was filled with light and flowers for the special engagement, before she flashed her ring.

They celebrated with family and friends after going out for a special dinner. Umansky sang to Zingerman that she “thinks she wants to marry him” (thanks, Bruno Mars)
