TV star shares REAL reason she sold her old house - and it isn't because it was haunted

Exclusive: Chloe Ferry has just told Reality Tidbit the real reason behind her selling her old house. She starred on Help! My House is Haunted, but the weird goings-on didn’t force her to move.

Geordie Shore has just come back on our screens! Chloe Ferry escaped her cosy home to go on a wild stag do for Kyle Walker, but the ‘haunted’ mansion had a safety worry that made her sell up.

Chloe Ferry reveals truth behind house sale

Chloe Ferry, who appeared on Help! My House is Haunted, said she never moved house because it was haunted. There were several burglaries at the old house, which was “too big” for Chloe and her partner.

Chloe told us: “Everyone thinks I moved out of my house because it was haunted. The real reason I moved out of my house is because there were too many burglaries happening, but I didn’t want to tell anyone.”

“There were honestly people jumping over my gates but obviously because I did that show at that time, it made sense. The same day, I had my house sold, I had an offer for over asking price,” Chloe added.

She said she no longer posts the outside of her house for safety reasons, especially because her boyfriend is often out working. Chloe added how it was a “mistake” making her home public before.

Chloe added, “Everyone knew that was my house, people were like, ‘She’s the one with the big staircase.’ Everyone knew where I lived but this one, I don’t post, but my new house is so much more homely.”

She admits that ‘weird things happened’

Chloe admitted to Reality Tidbit that “weird things did happen,” after showing on Help! My House is Haunted that her dogs would bark out of nowhere and that items would move around.

She said, “I heard noises and crashes but obviously I had them come and say it was haunted. Apparently it was the Geordie Ripper on the landing, but I don’t know if it was true.”

Confirming she just didn’t feel safe there, Chloe has since moved into a new place and has even got some plans to move to Ibiza for a month (or even five months, but “we’ll see”) in 2025!
