TV star who helped run family business has 'no idea' what happened

Janelle Brown once ran a jewelry business called The Sister Wifes closet. She sold clothing and accessories her co-stars but has literally not one idea about what happened to their items.

The Sister Wives stars took major advantage of their TV fame by setting up an online shop. Janelle Brown was the least interested in the business and has since been “removed” from the company.

Janelle Brown recalls Sister Wives closet

Janelle Brown is looking back on the Sister Wives closet days, which no longer exists. She told Reality Life With Kate Casey podcast, “It wasn’t successful,” adding that it should have been an individual venture.

“I do think that we probably didn’t know how to run a business as a family together,” Brown admitted, adding that she has “no idea” what happened to all of the unsold inventory of polygamy heart pendants.

“I’ve been so removed from the business that I have no idea,” she added. The website for the jewelry line is active, but the last time the “blog” section was updated was in January 2019.

Janelle is now running her own flower farm business, Taedo Farms, with her daughter Madison and her husband, and lives in North Carolina. “I have a lot more say over what I do,” she told Kate Casey.

She added: “I had to always consider everybody else’s opinion, the whole family, and it’s nice to move forward into what I want to do and not have to think about them. I’m bolder than I was in the beginning.”

Robyn Brown ‘open to orders’

Back in March 2023, Kody Brown‘s daughter Mykelti Brown discussed the jewelry line on her Patreon account. She stated that Kody’s wife, Robyn Brown, was still open to orders for the merchandise.

However, she claimed the company’s website was a frequent target of hackers. “[It] became too much to continuously repair the website to keep up with it” Mykelti told TLC fans.

“A couple of months ago, I asked Robyn about it, and she said she’s still taking orders for it. But I think Robyn is the only one that does My Sisterwife’s Closet, and she has been for the last couple of years.”
