Blind Frog Ranch is said to be home not only to the blind frogs that dwell in its underground caverns, but it’s the resting place of “$3bn worth of treasure”. The search for the hefty amount of gold and other assortment of items continues for the show’s cast members Duane and Chad Ollinger this fall.

After seasons 1, 2, and 3 proved to bring challenge after challenge the Ollingers’ way, the land owners aren’t giving up. They’re back at it this November with a brand new batch of episodes. Fans will see the father and son duo attempting to unearth some rare finds along with the help of Charlie Snider and geologist Eric Drummond.

Chad and Duane Ollinger are back

After what feels like forever, Mystery At Blind Frog Ranch fans will be delighted to hear the show is coming back this fall.

Chad and Duane Ollinger are ready to scour their Utah land once again, alongside their trusty pal Charlie Snider.

All kinds of unexplainable occurrences have been going down at Blind Frog Ranch for years.

Now, the Ollingers’ exploration of the 160-acre land isn’t stopping there and they’re bringing back a familiar face to help them.

Eric Drummond is on hand to help

As Duane, Chad, and Charlie pick up where they left off this November, Discovery Channel fans will also likely recognize another member of the team who’s returning.

Hoping to help find Aztec gold, which is said to be “cursed”, is geologist Eric Drummond.

Eric was on hand during past seasons when the team found a metal that was “morphing into different shapes.”

He tested the material to find out that it was a soft, silvery metal called gallium.

The discovery was particularly confusing for the crew as the metal dates back 500 years. “Gallium was only discovered in 1875 and we find it in Aztec age rocks underwater in a cave,” Eric says.

During season 4’s first episode, Eric and Chad Ollinger head into a deep underground cavern in search of treasure.

Cavern systems appear to be Eric’s fortĂ© as Duane previously asked him to come on board to help with that element of the project.

“Eric is world-renowned for several major wildcat discoveries that he’s made around the world. From finding diamonds around the lava lake at an active volcano to a mountain full of rubies in Greenland that he’s currently mining, no project is too unusual for Eric,” writes Discovery.
