US rapper Lil Xan is reportedly wanted by the police after he kicked a fan in the head during a concert.
Lil Xan, 28, was seen in a video clip performing at Royale nightclub in Boston last Friday.
In the video taken in the early hours of Saturday morning, the artist could be seen on stage holding a microphone when he gets into an altercation with an audience member who held up his middle finger to the rapper.
The rapper – who also goes by Diego – then appeared to attack the fan using a microphone knocking him to the ground.
As the audience member was then getting back up, he then threw the microphone at him and kicked him in the head, knocking him back to the ground.
He is then ushered off stage, as members of the crowd look on at the stage in shock.
TMZ posted the video and reported that the police were called: ‘Our law enforcement sources say the call was for assault and battery … with a witness telling them the attack was unprompted.’
They also added: ‘We’re told the man refused medical attention at the scene.
‘And, cops say they were also told Xan assaulted two other people while leaving the club.’
Sources also claimed that the rapper left the venue soon after the incident took place and avoided security who attempted to locate him.
The rapper whose real name is Nicholas Diego Leanos is best known for his song Betrayed which peaked at number 64 on the Billboard Hot 100.
He first gained popularity in the 10s after releasing tracks on SoundCloud. His debut albumTotal Xanarchy was released in 2018 and peaked at number 10 on the charts.
His second album Diego was released in September 2024.
It’s reported that the police are still trying to locate the artist and there is an investigation taking place into the incident.
Metro has reached out to Lil Xan’s representatives for comment.
