Vicky Pattison was overcome with emotion as she discussed her dreams of motherhood, admitting that the topic always makes her "upset".

The 37-year-old Geordie Shore icon has been candid about her desire to start a family with her new beau, 30-year-old Ercan Ramadan. The pair tied the knot earlier this year in a romantic Marylebone ceremony.

Back in November, it was revealed Vicky had decided to freeze her eggs, a move she believes eases the "pressure", with plans to try for a baby in a year. Ercan, meanwhile, revealed to Express.co.uk their decision to focus on work and travel before diving into parenthood.

In a heartfelt chat released this week, Vicky shared her thoughts on taking on the role of a mum, calling it the "logical next step".

Speaking to Heat magazine, Vicky revealed: "That's the logical next step for Erc and myself and something that we've wanted for a while. (Vicky starts to get teary). Sorry, I always get upset when I talk about kids.

"The thought of having daughters years ago probably would have scared us a little bit, but having faced criticism, and been my own harshest critic, I'm in a fairly decent place to try and impart some pearls of wisdom."

The former queen of the jungle on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! has expressed hope that they will be "blessed in that space and that children are in our future".

Ercan, known for his stint on The Only Way is Essex, also mentioned his recent venture into business, while Vicky is juggling a hectic schedule with numerous TV projects.

Vicky Pattison's romantic journey with Ercan reached its peak when he popped the question in 2023, leading to a stunning wedding bash in Puglia, soon to be televised on an E4 special.

Their love began through mutual friends five years earlier and evolved into a fairy tale celebration, attended by celeb pals including Ferne McCann and Mario Falcone. Viewers will be able to watch the 150 guests descend upon London in classic double-decker buses before jetting off to the Italian festivities.

Taking to Instagram, Vicky shared her happiness a week after her nuptials, saying: "I have honestly never felt happiness like it - the most special day of our lives."

Amidst this joy, Vicky has been candid about grappling with premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), known to cause severe emotional and physical turmoil ahead of one's period.

According to John Hopkins Medicine, it's a more severe form of premenstrual syndrome (PMS). Its symptoms can include depressed mood, raised anxiety, mood swings, self-critical thoughts, frequent tearfulness, and raised irritability.

In an enlightening conversation with Naga Munchetty on 5 Live this year, she expressed feeling freed from self-doubt, adding: "I felt liberation because I'm not insane.

"I'm not mental, I'm not all those things I was convincing myself I was because I couldn't deal with periods like everybody else."
