Donna Kelce decided to join in on the fun at Taylor Swift's Eras Tour wrap party and 35th birthday celebration.
Donna, 72, who is Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce's mom, has appeared in new photos from the event, proving she showed up to support her son's girlfriend. She even wore a fun outfit to mark the occasion.
She was photographed on the dancefloor in a matching dark red outfit, including a sparkly top. Since the images surfaced via Page Six, it raised speculation if the outfit was a reference to Swift's 2022 song, "Maroon," since the guests were encouraged to dress up as various eras across the pop star's discography.
"DONNA WENT DRESSED UP AS MAROON," one fan posted on X (formerly Twitter). Another added, "donna maroon stan confirmed."
Other users were just excited to see Donna dancing. "DONNA KELCE ON THE DANCE FLOOR ??? OH THIS IS MY SUPER BOWL," a fan shared.
According to USA Today, Travis threw a surprise party for Taylor, honoring how hard she worked on her record-breaking tour. Other guests in attendance included Patrick and Brittany Mahomes, Ashley Avignone, the Haim sisters, and Travis' other teammates. Swift wore a Balmain dress that appeared to be a nod to the Fearless era.
Travis' best friend, Ross Travis, wore a pink suit with Lover-era energy and shared some snaps from Swift's party to Instagram — including one where she is singing and raising a microphone in the air. "Epic night for an Epic run!" he captioned the slideshow.
Since Swift went public about her relationship with Travis in September 2023, Donna has continued to praise her in various interviews. Swift has also cheered alongside Donna at Travis' football games throughout their relationship. "They're both friendly," Donna said about the couple on a May 2024 episode of The Martha Stewart Podcast. "They're both generous. They're both loving. They're both caring individuals."
