In Sunday night's I'm A Celeb episode, BBC Radio 1 host Dean, 32, and TV personality Coleen, 38, took on the 'Absolute Carnage' trial together, which was Coleen's first challenge. The trial had the two campmates working together to secure gold stars for the camp. It involved one of them unscrewing stars from the back of a truck, with the other using tools found elsewhere in the cab.

While Dean struggled and screamed in the front of the vehicle, covered in what appeared to be slime and guts, Coleen remained calm as she worked to loosen stars bolted to a wall in the back. She kept her cool despite being covered in cockroaches and rats.

Coleen’s impressive performance even earned praise from her former rival, Rebekah Vardy, whom she had the Wagatha Christie feud with back in 2022. Writing in her The Sun column, Rebekah said : “It's blowing a gale at home, but there’s definitely a rumble in the jungle. Luckily, it’s not in the campmates’ stomachs, as Teabag Dean had Coleen with him for Absolute Carnage, and they managed to get nine stars. I’m applauding Coleen. She really held her nerve as the mealworms, cockroaches, and rats crawled all over her.”

The praise comes after Rebekah has aimed several jibes in her rival's direction since she entered camp Down Under - The WAG, who is married to Leicester footballer Jamie Vardy. Prior to the task, and after branding the campmates "dull and wet" ahead of a previous challenge, she confessed her hopes of seeing Coleen eating "bull's penis and humble pie"

Before that, Rebekah mocked Coleen's entrance to the show. "Coleen sank in the river twice. It's the gift that keeps on giving.” she said after the launch episode. And she also hit out straight away at Dean, who she said had been cosying up to her rival. "It’s so very obvious and, believe me, it is going to get tiresome. He absolutely loves to talk about Wagatha and when he does he knows he’s going to get airtime from it,” Rebekah initially raged in The Sun.
