The conversation started with Suki saying: “Hi my love,” to which Rob replied: “Hey darling.”
But Suki then got to the crux of the prank, telling the notoriously private star: “They were saying we could do it together as well, which I thought actually could be quite good.”
After a brief pause, Rob politely asked: “Darling, have you gone mad?”
And while the prank itself was pretty hilarious — especially Rob’s confused reaction — viewers were mostly distracted by the sweet way that he spoke to Suki throughout their phone conversation.
Picking up on his tone, one person said in a comment on Elle’s TikTok video of the prank: “He sounds like he’s kicking his feet and twirling his hair while talking to her 🥰” which has racked up more than 85,000 likes at the time of writing.
“why are they flirting? why are they flirting on the internet!?” somebody else jokingly asked. One more observed: “oh he is so in love with her.”
“I cannot, I just cannot, my heart's too soft for this,” another user wrote, while somebody else admitted: “I had to listen to him say ‘hey darling’ several times before I could move on.”
The clip also caused a stir over on X — and there was one moment from the video in particular that had people gagged.
