As far as hair oils go, this one has fairly spectacular reviews across the board. Sameeha Shaikh, Grazia's beauty writer (and self-confessed hair oil addict) says: 'I especially love how lightweight and fluid it is, unlike other finishing oils I've used it is more akin to a serum-oil hybrid and doesn't weigh your stands down in any way. Instead, I've found it diffuses instantly and I rarely need more than a pump or two to see the magic at play. My thick, wavy hair, which is prone to a fuzzy halo that I embrace on most days, responded well to the oil's softening and smoothing effects on the odd occasion when I'm opting for a sleek look, all without compromising my natural texture.'

Even if you haven't tried Elemis' Cleansing Balm, chances are you've heard people raving about it. One such person is our beauty editor, Rachael Martin, who says, 'I can safely say that this is my favourite cleansing balm of all time. It starts off as a solid formula but melts into a slightly milky, balmier texture that applies beautifully and doesn’t drag on the skin. I’ll work it into my complexion and watch as my make-up (including waterproof mascara) melts away. I have oily skin, and typically a balm has been known to break me out, but this one doesn’t. I use as the first step in my double cleansing routine alongside a gel-based cleanser and I’m rigorous about ensuring any remnants are swept off my skin promptly. This prevents any blocked pores. My skin is far from perfect, but now that I’ve adopted a more Elemis consistent skincare routine I’ve seen a marked improvement in how it looks.'

The ghd straighteners are an iconic hair tool for a reason: they really do work better than any others. I have fine curly hair, so styling it to be straight is usually a real pain. When I use these, however, my hair is sleek and glossy in half the time and it stays like that all day (unless, of course, it rains). This pair is now under £150 in the sale, so I'd suggest you add to basket before they're gone.

This spray is the secret behind Kim Kardashian's sleek hair, as revealed by her hairdresser, Chris Appleton. Apply it to wet hair and blow dry it in for instant results – hair will be shinier, smoother and without a hint of frizz. It even makes hair waterproof, so if you get caught in the rain, you don't need to worry – your hair will be as perfect as when you first styled it.

If you're not yet familiar with the Shark 5-in-1 hair tool, prepare to be very excited indeed. Rachael Martin, beauty editor, has tested this styler multiple times and maintains that it is worth all of the hype it gets. She says: 'The set features 5 attachments that allow for easy curling, straightening, volumising, defining and smoothing. And good news, as it dries and styles without the need for extreme heat – the tool boasts impressive built in technology that measures heat 1,000 times per second ensuring consistent and gentle air temperatures. It's certainly handy if you’re someone who styles your hair frequently and wants to minimise the risk of damage.'

I use this every day on my sensitive skin and it removes make-up better than most cleansers I've tried. I only need a small amount on a cotton pad to wipe away even the toughest mascara and my face always feels super-clean afterwards. I do often follow up with a cream cleanser, too, just to ensure my face is as free from dirt as it possibly can be (I live in the city!). It's more than half price less than usual, too, so I really will be stocking up on this today.

While I haven't yet tried this product personally, many of my friends have said that it's one of the best cleansers they've tried. One of my friends, who has combination skin, said it's extremely hydrating and leaves skin feeling really smooth and radiant. Grapefruit is rich in vitamin C, which brightens skin, cocoa butter breaks down any build-up of oil while also soothing skin and giving moisture.

This is the kind of product which, once people try it, they don't stop raving about the results. Georgia Scott, commercial content writer, says: 'My skin is pretty used to active ingredients, as I often incorporate an AHA exfoliant or a splash of vitamin C into my skincare routine but retinol is a slightly different ball game. Despite my concerns, I gently introduced my skin to Medik8's Crystal Retinal 3 and was thrilled with the results. If you are often intimidated by retinol, this one is perfect for beginners or those with sensitive skin to avoid any irritation or dreaded pealing. Once you've graduated from No. 3, you can progress through the range to ensure your skin builds up immunity to avoid any unwanted reactions other than super glowy and fresh-looking skin - and don't forget SPF. Simply apply once a week before bed and start to see results, just like I did.'

I have talked about this product to anybody who will listen – it's that good. I am extremely lazy when it comes to moisturising. I'm always really good at completing my facial skincare routine but, while I love the idea of being the type of person who has time to shower, moisturise and still be ready on time, I am normally in such a rush I leave the house with wet hair. Thankfully, I found Curél's Moisture Spray, which does exactly what that name would suggest. I really do just spray it lightly all over, rub it in and then I'm ready. I have been using it for about four months now and it's made my skin softer and smoother. I sometimes even spray it over make-up halfway through the day when my face feels dry or skin looks dull. I will be buying several cans now that it's on sale.

I'm really not exaggerating when I say that I can't live without this foundation. I mean, obviously I could, but I wouldn't want to go anywhere because it makes my skin look about 400 times better than usual. I have used this product for years – I live in fear of it ever being discontinued – and, while I've been lucky enough to try countless luxury foundations for my job, I've never found one I like more than this. It's lightweight, which I love, as I hate dense or cakey foundations, but still offers a good amount of coverage. Granted, if you're a full coverage, super matte finish kind of person, this may not be for you, but I find that it's the perfect everyday base. I've had so many people ask what I use on my skin and the answer is always this.

It can be difficult to find an SPF that offers full protection (SPF50+) and the promise of a glowing complexion, but that's exactly what this Garnier product does. Georgia Scott, Grazia's commercial content writer and beauty obsessive, tried this earlier in the year and said she loved the results: 'I got my hands on this Glow Fluid version of the product and, as someone who wears SPF daily, I was instantly super impressed with how light the formula felt on my skin. At first, I was concerned that the tint was too dark for my skin tone but in fact it blends out into a sheer, glowing base that reminded me of Charlotte Tilbury's Hollywood Flawless Filter. One of my essentials when shopping for a new SPF is that the product needs to feel light on the skin, and not only does this fluid feel lightweight but also super hydrating.'

I know this isn't the sexiest of beauty buys but I have to tell you it's saved my skin, so any time there's an offer on, I will take advantage. In winter months, especially, this is a God-send, offering deeply healing hydration to prevent skin from becoming cracked and dry. My dry skin got so bad at one point that only prescription creams from the doctor would relieve it – until I tried this. Now, I can't be without a tub of this at home, so I'm very happy indeed that's it's on sale today.

Often, we're lured into thinking that the more expensive a product, the better it is. That's not always the case, though, especially when it comes to skincare. This CeraVe cleanser is proof enough – it's always under £15 but is now even more affordable thanks to Amazon's Black Friday deals. Chloé Burcham, a beauty editor with years of experience, says it's the one product she's never without: 'While salicylic acid is known for its ability to temper breakouts, this cleanser is also great for dry, dehydrated skin types. It cleanses deep into my pores without stripping skin, and that's thanks to CeraVe’s patented triple ceramide complex, so it doesn't deplete your skin's essential moisture levels.'

Aimee Jakes, trending content editor says, 'One product I rely on for a glug of hydration is L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler Serum, which is my secret for instantly plumped and dewy skin. It's recommended by many dermatologists for its surprisingly superior skincare ingredients, which include macro and micro hyaluronic acid molecules for multi-layered skin boosting. The infamous hairdryer brush, loved by beauty mavericks, is now on sale. This heat tool effortlessly transforms hair from wet to blow dried minus the heat damage.
Rachael Martin, beauty editor says, 'I was lucky enough to get my hands on a sample of the ghd Duet Blowdry back in April. Since then, it’s become integral to my hair routine. I've managed to whittle down my wash days to just twice a week and I've used this as the perfect excuse to get to grips with the tool over the past few months. I apply it to towel dried hair, initially rough-drying and then creating volume at the roots via a combination of tension and heat - I'll hold it in place for around 3 seconds. I'll then pull the brush through in a twisting motion to create the blowdried finish - the smaller the section the more pronounced the curl and the bigger the section the more voluminous the finish. I’ve also used it to refresh my dry hair for special occasions - but not without a hefty dose of heat protectant.'

Georgia Scott, beauty and fashion product writer says, 'If you're like me, the constant search for a product to instantly soothe my dry, lacklustre skin is never-ending and, if there's one product that dominates the world of beauty, it has to be Weleda's Skin Food. This affordable, skin-loving moisturiser delivers serious hydration while leaving your skin with the perfect glowing base for make-up.'
