Wendy Williams' health has been on the decline for a few years, but the latest update from her legal guardian has some stunned.

The 60-year-old former talk show host is "afflicted by early-onset dementia and, as a result, has become cognitively impaired and permanently incapacitated," Williams' legal team and guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, stated in court documents obtained by The U.S. Sun.

Williams' health update comes from legal paperwork filed by Morrissey on November 12, as part of an ongoing legal battle with Lifetime over their Where Is Wendy Williams? documentary.

Morrissey filed a restraining order against the network on February 20, four days before the premiere of the doc in an effort to stop it from being released. The request was declined by a judge who said that stopping the film was an "impermissible prior restraint on speech that violates the First Amendment of the constitution."

Williams' team released a statement regarding her health and her diagnosis of primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia earlier this year. The statement read, "Aphasia, a condition affecting language and communication abilities, and frontotemporal dementia, a progressive disorder impacting behavior and cognitive functions, have already presented significant hurdles in Wendy's life."

The Think Like A Man actress stepped out of the spotlight after ending her talk show, The Wendy Williams Show in 2021 and was placed under guardianship in 2022.

Williams was last spotted in August, which marked the first time she had been photographed in public since her legal battles and health struggles came to light. She was seen making purchases at a holistic wellness store in Newark, New Jersey, according to Page Six, with her son, Kevin Hunter. A store employee revealed that the former producer appeared "sharp, upbeat, and aware" during her visit to the store.
