Is Richard Lawson Trying To Shoot His Shot At Meagan Good?

Richard Lawson has social media cuttin’ up asking, “What’s really good, Unc?” Earlier this week, Megan Good shared a video of her stunning, gold glittering dress from the EBONY Power 100 Gala in Los Angeles, California. And her supporters caught Beyoncé’s former stepdaddy creepin’ in her comment section. Richard Lawson wrote, “MYYYYY GODDDD.”

Megan didn’t reply to Lawson’s comment, but social media definitely ripped him to shreds reminding him that Ms. Good is already taken.

Note that the moment might also not be THAT deep, as there’s room for it to have been a lil’ harmless compliment. For more context, both he and Meagan recently worked together and starred in Tyler Perry’s, ‘Divorce in the Black.’ Lawson plays Meagan Good’s father in the film.

Meagan Good & Jonathan Majors Make Surprising Relationship Update

Social media wasted no time calling out Richard Lawson, considering that news broke earlier this week that Meagan Good and Jonathan Majors are engaged, per TSR.

E! News spilled the tea on Nov. 17, reporting that the couple announced their engagement at the EBONY Power 100 Gala in LA. A video making rounds online shows Meagan hitting the red carpet with a sparkling rock on her left ring finger. While posing for pics, she flashed the diamond ring, standing close to Majors for all of the cameras.

Jonathan Majors Ex Drops Assault & Defamation Lawsuit

Jonathan Majors seems to have to play to celebrate lately. Besides his engagement to Meagan Good, his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, has officially dropped her assault and defamation lawsuit against him. As reported by NBC News, court records filed in New York on Thursday, November 21, confirm the case’s closure.

Jabbari initially accused Majors of misdemeanor assault, claiming he attacked her in an SUV in December 2023. In March, she filed a civil suit alleging malicious prosecution, assault, battery, and defamation, citing incidents during their nearly two-year relationship. Majors consistently denied the allegations and completed a year-long counseling program while staying out of jail. Per NBC News, the recent filing dismisses “all claims against Defendant … with prejudice,” meaning they cannot be refiled.
