WhatsApp for iOS 24.22.83 has a new draft label feature that allows users to quickly locate drafted and unsent messages without visiting particular chats. The functionality refreshes data in real-time using the iOS widget API. Users may easily locate an incomplete message without having to navigate through the chat list by seeing the new draft label next to it. Additionally, WhatsApp has released a new widget that lets users search for chats by category on the iPhone home screen.
With the WhatsApp for iOS 24.22.83 update now accessible on the App Store, WaBetaInfo reports that WhatsApp has included new capabilities to help user organisation and communication, such as better draft labelling. WhatsApp is extensively introducing a chat message draft capability to all users, according to the official changelog.
WhatsApp has added additional chat-related Home Screen widgets, such as Frequently Contacted, Pinned, Favourites, and Recents. With their tighter integration with system functions and real-time data updates, these widgets—which were initially included in the WhatsApp for iOS 24.21.82 update—improve conversation accessibility on the Home Screen.

The official changelog also mentions that message drafts are now marked with a new “Draft” label in the chat list. As per the report the feature shows the text of any incomplete message in the chat list, tagged with the “Draft” label, allowing users to read what they were writing without entering the discussion.
“For users who often get interrupted or distracted while typing, this feature serves as a reminder, reducing the chance of leaving messages unsent.”
Unlike in the past, when users had to recall or check each chat individually, the new “Draft” label now indicates which discussions include incomplete texts at a glance.
