A Wheel of Fortune contestant has gone viral for hilariously botching a fairly filled-in puzzle on the show's Monday night episode.
During the show, contestant Will Jordan from Connecticut had to fill in the remainder of a puzzle that read: "_ _ _ E _OURSE_F A ROUN_ OF A_ _ _AUSE."
The retired service member and police officer appeared to go blank and instead of guessing the obvious, declared "Treat yourself a round of sausage" as his answer.

Hilarious. 10/10. Absolutely no notes from me.
As the next contestant, Kitina Thomas, correctly guessed, the answer to the puzzle was: "Give yourself a round of applause."
I personally think "treat yourself a round of sausage" is a far better answer, and Wheel of Fortune's new host Ryan Seacrest seemed to agree.
"Will, I kind of like yours better," Seacrest joked after Thomas guessed the correct answer. "That sounds better than just clapping right now."
Following the sausage shenanigans, Jordan spoke to the game show's social media correspondent and daughter of former host Pat Sajek, Maggie Sajek, about the blunder.
"I tell you, when the lights are on, and you know, the stars and Ryan Seacrest, Vanna White…I just went blank," Jordan explained. "But, if your dad in retirement is watching the show, maybe cracks a beer and gets a laugh, it'll be worth it."
Jordan also seemed to embrace his mishap and accepted the incoming sausage jokes (and literal sausages) coming his way.
"I'm sure I'm gonna have sausages in my locker and police car when I get back, so we'll try to have some fun with it," he joked.
Wheel of Fortune fans are absolutely eating up Jordan's mishap online with many commending him for his hilarious answer and attitude about it all.
"He might have been wrong, but deep down we know he was right," wrote one user on Twitter.

Another user on TikTok wrote, "Single worst, but best wheel performance I've ever seen. LMFAO. Love this dude."
Another fan commented on Instagram, "So great! And shoutout to Will for being a great sport and for making us laugh right along with him!"
Per NBC News, Jordan currently serves as a School Resource Officer with the Rocky Hill Police Department in Connecticut. As the holiday season approaches, the police department is turning Jordan's hilarious mistake into a positive by driving donations to the Rocky Hill Human Services Food Bank.
Treat yourself a round of sausages folks.
