Tickets for Chris McCausland's Yonks tour are being snapped up following the comedian's stunning win on Strictly Come Dancing.

The dad-of-one, 47, who is Strictly's first blind contestant, was handed the Glitterball trophy on Saturday after months of gruelling rehearsals and spectacular live performances, which won the hearts of both the judges and viewers.

Before strutting his stuff on Strictly, comedian, Chris, kicked off his Yonks stand-up tour in January until he signed up for the BBC dance show. Telling Lorraine Kelly, he was supposed to be back on the road in September, he said: "I started my tour in January this year and I did the first leg until May and I was meant to be back out in September. We moved the dates to accommodate Strictly, so we just moved them to January."

Following his inspirational success with pro dancer, Dianne Buswell, the comic is gearing up to take Yonks back on tour with a whole host of dates added due to the "phenomenal demand". The show is described as "another masterclass in stand-up comedy that has literally been yonks in the making."

Chris will be performing as part of Omid Djalili's NYE Special at London's Cadogan Hall before his tour kicks off on January 23rd January in Nottingham. He then performs up and down the country until 2026 following his star-studded success on Strictly. He also has an international show in Dublin on October 24, 2025.

Where to buy Yonks tickets

Tickets for the shows are available on Ticketmaster.com and See Tickets, however the sites advise that there is 'limited' and 'low availability' at some of the venues.

Chris' tour tickets are also out now from various retailers, including resale websites, such as viagogo, Vivid Seats and Stub Hub. These resale sites allow fans to buy and sell their tickets at will and price them however they wish. On top of that, fans will be able to buy their ideal tickets at any point - without any digital queues. However, it is important to note that many event promoters say tickets should not be resold after initial purchase and will not be valid for admittance to gigs.

Fans attending live events with tickets acquired through resale websites are advised to double-check the ticket terms and conditions at the point of sale.

"Yonks will sell out quicker than you can say 'paso doble'''

Following his stunning success on Strictly, Chris could be waltzing all the way to the bank as his mega-long tour kicks off. Speaking to the Mirror, PR guru Mark Borkowski , said: “His authenticity and humour have given the show a shot of much-needed credibility and warmth, reminding everyone why they fell in love with the format in the first place. He hasn’t just danced his way to the bank, he’s carried Strictly there with him, turning a potentially disastrous series into a glittering, headline-grabbing redemption arc.

"Beyond the glitterball, Chris is perfectly poised to cash in; TV deals, brand partnerships and a refreshed comedy tour that will likely sell out faster than you can say ‘paso doble’.”
