VETERAN actor and Twilight star Earl Holliman has tragically died at age 96.

Who is Earl Holliman's husband Craig Curtis?
While Holliman had a glowing career in the Hollywood industry, he kept his personal life and relationships away from the public limelight.
He never addressed his sexuality publicly, he was confirmed to have a male spouse at the time of his death.
Holliman's partner Craig Curtis was the first person to announce his death.
Curtis paid tribute to the late actor and called him a “compassionate" and “gracious” person.
He told Variety: "[Holliman] was a gracious, kind confidant, a consummate host, a man whose indefatigable positivity was evergreen and powered by a 1000-watt smile, an easy charm and infectious goodwill.
"[It was] a joy and a privilege to spend time with [him], he was even-keeled and compassionate, possessing a deep sensitivity and mischievous sense of humour which were belied by his stoically handsome countenance," Curtis added.
Who was Earl Holliman?"
Born on September 11, 1928, Earl Holliman was an American actor and singer famous for his character roles in films and Western dramas.
The star actor from Delhi, Louisiana rose to fame in the 1950s and 1960s - and won the Golden Globe Awards for his supporting role in the 1956 romance film The Rainmaker.
Holliman also performed as a singer and had a record deal with famous recording studios, such as Capitol Records Prep and HiFi.
Besides his acting career, Holliman was a known animal rights activist, who served as the President of Actors and Others for Animals for 25 years.
He was raised in Oil City, Louisiana and served in the US Navy when he was 15 during World War Two, but he was discharged from the service a year later because of his age.
But he was re-enlisted after he graduated high school, Variety reports.
After finishing his service, Holliman went to Los Angeles to work on acting and theatrics at UCLA and the Pasadena Playhouse.
In 1977, he received a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame.
Holliman passed away on November 25, 2024, in hospice care at his home in Studio City.

The actor also worked in Television and his most famous role includes his portrayal as Sundance in CBS's Hotel de Paree from 1959 to 1960.
Holliman also appeared in the very first episode of The Twilight Zone in October 1959 where he portrayed a man with amnesia in a deserted town.
