Don’t call it a comeback because Countess Luann de Lesseps was never gone. Since leaving the Real Housewives of New York, Luann has been keeping herself quite busy between her cabaret performances and Bravo appearances. But after the rumor mill was working overtime, fans are hoping to see her pop up on the new season of Southern Hospitality.

During the Season 2 reunion of Southern Hospitality, Joe Bradley refused to come clean about hooking up with the RHONY star. The duo had appeared on Watch What Happens Live and clearly shared a bit of chemistry. They laughed and even joked about their connection. But instead of embracing his carnal ways, he doubled down and lied, waiting for months to admit he had cheated on his then-girlfriend, Danielle Olivera. But finally, after being called out by his former best friend, TJ Dinch, Joe revealed he did, in fact, have a thing for MILFs.

Joe knew the incident cast him in a bad light. So, while speaking with Us Weekly, Joe revealed, “I think that enough time has passed, and I’m sick of the rumors and the lies. This is the truth, me and Luann, we got a drink and hit it off. I never felt self-conscious or trying to hide the fact that I kissed her, because Luann’s iconic.” And that’s just it, Luann is an icon when it comes to the Bravowphere. I mean, only Luann’s sex life could make the front pages and a major storyline for another franchise. She must be so proud.

Luann de Lesseps needs a comeback

It would be everything if Luann stepped foot into Charleston and got on board with the storyline. Firstly, Joe is now dating Maddi Reese, his longtime dream girl. I love Lu, but she knows how to make a love triangle messy. We’ve seen it with Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan. I can see her now, swooping in for a weekend retreat, flaunting herself at Republic while Joe is on duty. Maddi becomes very jealous and upset. It has all the makings for one epic showdown. Even though Joe might not be thrilled, fans would love every second of it.

Luann had a way of demanding the camera’s attention when she was on the Real Housewives of New York. I imagine she could almost step into a position like Lisa Vanderpump held. A matriarch if you wish. Above all, if Luann chose to make a guest appearance, it would get to the bottom of who was lying out of TJ and Joe. Both men have been at one another’s throats since the season started. Joe has stated that he was betrayed, while TJ has been called out for spreading wild accusations around town. If anyone can sniff out the problem, it’s Lu.

Luann could do a one-night cabaret performance. Who hasn’t missed her guttural sing-alongs? I know I have. What an episode it would be to have Luann set up the stage and sing to the younger generation. You know she would show up in Jovani. Even the ladies of Southern Hospitality know to respect the queen. In their confessionals, Grace Lilly quipped, “Luann is such a bad*ss. I mean, who wouldn’t want to f*ck her.” Maddi stated, “Joe hooking up with Luann is iconic.” And Emmy Sharrett stated, “Joe has a thing for MILFs. He loves them.”

The fact is Luann is a magnet for men, and it is something we all admire. Even her former costar Dorinda Medley noted that her friend has “a way” of closing deals. There is something to be said that the whole season premiere was about Luann and Joe’s hookup. I mean, what other Real Housewives star could command a stage like that? “I love every detail of it. And my most favorite detail is the fact that he was on location.” Honestly, there has to be a show out there dedicated to Luann’s ability to hook a man for the night. No shade, I genuinely love it. So please, Bravo gods, get Lu on an episode stat!
