Why RHOSLC’s Whitney Rose Has ‘Mad Respect’ for Season 5’s New Additions

1 month ago 7

Whitney Rose is an original cast member of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. This cast has been together for a while, but in Season 5, three new faces have walked on to help their antics. Filming with a tightly-knit cast isn’t easy. Yet, these three women have done just that, and Whitney has nothing but “mad respect” for their efforts.

First off, we agree with Whitney. Bronwyn Newport is nailing her first season.

Likewise, Britani Bateman and Meili Workman are adding decent soundbites as friends.

In an interview with WHO, Whitney spoke about her friendships on this cast. “Salt Lake City is a small city,” she began, noting that they “see each other all the time. We know each other’s families [and] we know each other’s friends. We have to be good to each other at the end of the day,” she explained.

The next topic centered around the new faces on RHOSLC this season. The interviewer asked, “How did the new housewives impact the group dynamic?” At first, Whitney stressed that all new players might catch a side-eye as the series regulars try to sort out their intentions. We can’t have anyone joining this series who might be holding some ulterior motives (again).

The series regulars on this cast have gone through a lot. One former star is now locked away, while at least one fired face is still licking her wounds after her departure following a season where she did the most.

I won’t name names. IYKYK.

Now that these wild narratives have aired, Whitney would be stressed out if she were a new face just now joining this series. But for those who are just starting, Whitney asks, “Can you imagine joining the group after year five?”

Whitney has “mad respect” for Bronwyn, Britani, and Meili. Even still, Whitney believes that for any new cast member, “it’s always going to be what is the intention? How are they going to fit?

Thankfully, all three of these new personalities are clocking in. And we thank them for their services (for now).

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs every Wednesday at 9/8c on Bravo.
