It is obvious that your child or minor cannot apply for their PAN card. So their parents or guardians have to apply for it. Here’s a detailed guide on how you can online apply for a minor’s PAN card:

STEP1: First, you need to go to the NSDL website. You will get the 49AA form; download it.

STEP2: The second step follows entering all the applicant’s details.

STEP3: Now upload your child’s photo and other necessary documents.

STEP4: You cannot upload your child’s signature. So, you have to upload your parent or guardian’s signature.

STEP5: Now make the payment and submit the form.

STEP6: After this, you will get a receipt number to track the application status.

STEP7: After verification, you will get the PAN card within 15 days.

  • Address and identity proof of parents
  • Identity proof of applicant: Aadhaar card, Ration card, Passport, Driving license, and Voter ID card
