Alongside former WWE Women's Champion Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill has been dominating the women's tag team division, garnering praise for her impressive physique, powerhouse style, and natural charisma.

However, she was shockingly written off of television by being mysteriously thrown through the windshield of a car.

According to WWE, Cargill was diagnosed with "Deep Lumbar Paraspinal Muscle Contusions, Bruised Kidney, Sprained MCL in her right knee, Tibial Plateau Bone Bruise of her right knee, Facial Lacerations."

Overall, this has resulted in Bayley taking Cargill's place in the Women's War Games match at Survivor Series, Lash Legend taking her place in the Women's United States Championship Tournament, and questions regarding whether she and Belair will vacate the Women's Tag Team Championship.

According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, this storyline is meant to cover up a real injury Cargill has suffered.

While Meltzer was told of a potential return timeline, the rest of the details about the injury have been kept "secret."

"I was told three months minimum," Meltzer said (h/t Wrestling Inc. for the transcription). "The other thing is whatever the actual injury is being kept very secret, because I've heard from several people in the company who are aware of the injury, and they say not only do they not know what the injury is, but people who are very close to her don't even know what the injury is. But it is an injury, but whatever reason, what the actual injury is is not well-known."

Meltzer and co-host Bryan Alvarez then speculated that Cargill had legitimately suffered a torn meniscus, one of the injuries WWE diagnosed her with since it matches the same recovery timeline.

That being said, the only people who truly know what is going on with Cargill are herself, her doctors, and any higher-ups she had to inform. Hopefully, she'll be able to recover safely and return to her dominant self.
