Qualcomm has recently unveiled its Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and since then, several smartphone manufacturers have confirmed the launch of their upcoming smartphones with it. In this regard, Xiaomi has announced the launch of its latest flagship phone, the Snapdragon 8 Elite. The tech giant will soon launch the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro in China. This includes the high-end variant Xiaomi 15 Ultra. Out of these two, only Xiaomi 15 will be launched in India. In addition, Xiaomi will also reveal its HyperOS2.
Xiaomi 15, Xiaomi 15 Pro Launch Date
The company will launch Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro on 29 October. The launch event will start at 7:00 pm local time in China (4:30 pm Indian time). At the event, Xiaomi will also introduce the Xiaomi Pad 7 series, Xiaomi SU7 Ultra, and Xiaomi Band 9 Pro. The event will also introduce HyperOS 2.0 skin based on Android 15.

Xiaomi 15 Series Specifications (Expected)
The teaser revealed by Xiaomi showcases that the camera design of the Xiaomi 15 series will differ from that of its predecessor, Xiaomi 14. It can have a display similar to Xiaomi 14 with a square camera module, flat display, and thin bezels. A new color, Powder Blue, has been confirmed to be launched under the Xiaomi 15 series.
The company is expected to launch Xiaomi 15 with a 6.36-inch flat AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate with LTPO technology. However, the Pro variant could have a 6.78-inch quad-curved 2K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate with Dolby Vision support and 120Hz refresh rate.
Continuing its partnership with Leica, the Xiaomi 15 series phones will feature a triple rear camera setup. The Pro is rumored to feature a 50-megapixel primary, 5x optical zoom telephoto lens, and an ultra-wide sensor.
The Xiaomi 15 smartphone may feature a 5,500mAh battery with 90W wired and 50W wireless charging support. At the same time, the 15 Pro may feature a 5,400mAh battery, 120W fast charging, and 90W wireless charging.
Xiaomi 15 Series Price (Expected)
As per reports, Xiaomi 15 will enter India at a higher price than its predecessor. Its price can increase by Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000 compared to the Xiaomi 14 series. Xiaomi 14 was launched in India at Rs 69,999, which means that the price of Xiaomi 15 can be between Rs 75,000 and Rs 80,000.
