What Is Yellowstone About?
Yellowstone follows the Dutton family, helmed by patriarch John Dutton (Kevin Costner), as they protect their cattle ranch in Montana against land developers and others at its borders, including America’s first National Park and a Native American reservation. The show is the last scripted original series remaining on Paramount Network, where it debuted in 2018. It also stars Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, Cole Hauser, Kesley Asbille, Brecken Merrill and others.
The hit show and its prequels have set TV ratings records for Paramount Network, with Yellowstone‘s fifth season premiere drawing in a record-breaking 12.1 million viewers and the final episode of 1923 attracting 7.4 million viewers. Both prequel series have been confirmed for second seasons, but premiere dates have yet to be announced.
