Zara McDermott has candidly revealed the 'difficult' realities of running her athleisure clothing brand, Rise, in a new Instagram post amid her split from her long-term boyfriend.
The reality star, who is currently going through a break up with her partner of five years Sam Thompson, detailed her worries to her 2M followers. Sharing a clip to her Stories, Zara, 28, wrote: "Running a business can be difficult at times, but it's also the most rewarding thing. Being able to have the autonomy and control is an overwhelming feeling, and sometimes I worry that I might not get something right."
Continuing that her brand, which she launched last year, is working on a new homeware range, which will include fragrances, Zara explained: "However, after four months of working on our fragrances, It's now time to decide which fragrances are going to go into our homeware range for @wearerise.
"This was on my vision board for the brand when we began development in 2022, and I am so incredibly fortunate that the brand growth has allowed us to be able to expand into a space I was never even sure we would get to. Especially within the first year.

I created these scents to capture memories and experiences I've had in my life that bring me happiness. I cannot wait for you to smell them. They are beyond anything I've ever smelt before, getting these perfect was a beautiful experience I'll never forget. It was really hard to choose just three because I love all 5, but I wanted to also make sure there was something for everyone," concluded Zara.
The star appears to have been throwing herself into work over recent weeks and has also been working on a new BBC documentary, but is yet to speak out on her relationship split. Zara lives with Sam in their shared West London home alongside their two cats, but the pair first sparked worry things weren't solid between them when they spent both Christmas and New Year apart.
The split was then revealed when a source told the MailOnline : "Sam and Zara have ended their relationship. It's been an incredibly difficult decision for them to part ways, they still care and have a lot of love for each other." There is some more awkwardness to come for Sam and Zara too, as they are set to appear together on television in an upcoming episode of 'Michael McIntyre's Big Show,' despite their breakup.

A trailer for the new series shows McIntyre waking Sam and Zara as they lie in bed. Sam, dressed only in his underwear, reacts with surprise, exclaiming, "What the hell?" Zara, wearing black pyjamas, looks on in shock. The timing of the broadcast is less than ideal for the ex-couple.
Talking to The Sun, a source said: "Now they’ve broken up it’s going to be rather awkward if the BBC chooses to air it. Obviously Zara and Sam enjoyed it so they are not kicking up a stink. But it is rather embarrassing to think they’re going to have to watch themselves back on telly when they were still together.
“Their skit was really funny and they had such a great time with Michael so it would be a shame for it to be canned. Plus the new series starts really soon, so to cut it out would be a nightmare. Zara and Sam are having to sit tight and wait to find out. If the BBC does air it, you can guarantee they won’t be tuning in.”
