When it comes to Christmas Day, the royal family know all too well how to put together a timeless, sophisticated outfit, especially for their outings. On December 25, Zara Tindall was spotted arriving at the Christmas Morning Service at Sandringham Church in a head-to-toe burgundy outfit, which included a coat, matching fascinator and one of her go-to handbags, all in a co-ordinating wine colour.
The bag Zara was toting is one she’s often been spotted with, the Lalage Beaumont Odette Mini Dolomite, which has become a staple in her occasionwear. Zara has taken the bag everywhere from church services to Cheltenham Festival, and if you’re a fan of her mini handbag then you’re in luck, because it’s still available to shop.

The Lalage Beaumont Odette Mini Dolomite will set you back £845, which admittedly is a splurge, however if you received money for Christmas or have been saving up to treat yourself for the festive season, it’s a worthwhile investment. As Zara has proven, the bag is sophisticated enough to be used for more formal occasions, whilst still being versatile enough to be taken to brunch or out whilst running errands.

It measures 22cm wide, 16cm high and 9.5cm deep, giving you lots of room to carry your essentials.
One of the reasons for its higher price tag is that each Odette Mini Dolomite bag has been hand-crafted by artisans in Italy and Spain using real Italian calf leather. It also has gold-plated hardware, giving it a truly luxurious finish.
As well as being a versatile and stylish design, the Lalage Beaumont Odette Mini Dolomite is also practical too. You can carry it via the grab top handle, or clip on the detachable shoulder strap so you can wear it as a cross-body or over the shoulder bag.
The clasp also has a central lock, keeping your belongings safe and sound, and there are two inside compartments separated by a central pocket which can be zipped shut. There’s an additional open pocket inside, too, giving you plenty of storage for your things.
You can choose from Zara’s favoured wine colour, or pick from black, taupe and tan colourways. The leather of each shade has a pebbled finish, and is resilient to scratches and scuffs so you can keep your bag in tip top condition.

Lalage Beaumont)Although Zara’s Lalage Beaumont Odette Mini Dolomite is well worth investing in, if your budget doesn’t quite stretch that far we’ve found some other options for you to shop. Over at the Cambridge Satchel Company, The Mini Poppy bag has been reduced by 40% in the Boxing Day sale.
Originally priced at £140, you can get your hands on it for £84 right now, and it has a similar style to Zara’s bag. Although it has a more rectangular shape, it comes in a similar oxblood hue and features both a top handle and shoulder strap, with gold hardware and a textured real leather material.
Alternatively, Charles & Keith’s Arwen Croc-Effect Braided-Strap Top Handle Bag is priced at £79 and has a shape more closely resembling the Lalage Beautmont bag with a square design, flap fastening and both a top handle and braided strap to choose from. This bag is made from faux leather, however, rather than real, with a smooth finish on the body of the bag whilst the flap has a patent faux-croc effect.
