Zayn Malik paid tribute to his friend and former bandmate Liam Payne during a concert over the weekend.
Malik's Stairway to the Sky Tour made a stop in his hometown of Wolverhampton, England, on Friday, and he took time to perform a moving rendition of "It's You" in honor of the late Payne, who died after falling from his hotel balcony in October.
In footage shared from the concert, Malik spoke to fans about playing the record for Payne and how he's been paying tribute to his late One Direction bandmate.
"So I've been doing something at the end of the show every night and it is being dedicated to my brother Liam Payne," said Payne. "Rest in peace. I hope you see this. We're in your hometown tonight, Wolverhampton. This is for you, Liam. Here's another song, 'It's You.'"
This latest tribute comes a few weeks after Malik honored Payne with a special graphic that was shown on the screen at his first concert on the tour at the O2 Academy in Leeds, England. It was the first show Malik had performed since Payne's untimely death.
"Liam Payne 1993-2024, Love you bro," read the message while "Stardust" played in the background.
Three days before that show, Malik attended Payne's private funeral service in Amersham, England. In addition to Malik, Payne's former One Direction bandmates Harry Styles, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson were present.
