It seems like one thing that some of the biggest stars in the world have in common is their love of tattoos. Halsey has over 30 pieces of ink on her body in various sizes and with different meanings, while Ashley Benson has a growing collection of body art that numbers over 25. There's also Lana Del Rey's collection, Megan Fox's, and even Millie Bobby Brown has a few. But there are also a handful of celebrities that have abstained from the body-art trend — or so we thought.
Up until recently, Zendaya was pretty clear on her opinions of tattoos. In a 2019 interview with Allure, the multi-hyphenate star said, "I love tattoos. But I don't want any." Deciding to get something permanently marked on your body is a really personal choice that takes a lot of thought, so we'd say that's a fair enough response.
However, at the 82nd Golden Globes on Sunday, January 5, 2025, Zendaya gave us quite a surprise. Not only did the actor seemingly launch her engagement with Tom Holland with a stunning engagement ring, but eagle-eyed fans also spotted a tiny tattoo on her side. The ink was almost completely hidden from view by her dress, but photographers were able to snap a shot of what appears to be a tiny "T" tattoo, potentially for her beau.
In that same interview in 2019, Zendaya had previously said her only exception to that no-tattoos rule would be a matching tattoo with her "Euphoria" co-star, Hunter Schafer. "Hunter and I want to get 'rules' tattooed on our [inner] lip. So we might do that." The word "Rules" is a nod to the blended couple name given to her character, Rue, on the HBO series, and Schafer's character, Jules. On the show, the two meet each other at a party at the end of the first episode and become fast friends, and by episode five, they're seen getting matching "rules" tattoos on the inside of their bottom lips.
Whether or not Zendaya's "T" tattoo is real or not remains to be seen. Take a look for yourself below.
