Fans think wedding bells could be on the horizon for Zendaya and Tom Holland after spotting the Dune actor wearing a huge diamond ring.
Zendaya, 28, was in attendance at this year’s Golden Globe Awards after being nominated in the best actress in a motion picture – musical or comedy category for her role in steamy sports drama Challengers.
Demi Moore took home the accolade for The Substance, but the Euphoria star garnered attention for a different reason after she was spotted with a huge rock on her ‘wedding ring’ finger.
Zendaya – who met boyfriend Tom Holland when they both appeared in 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming – hit the red carpet in an elegant orange gown.
She accessorised with a statement silver necklace and two chunky rings, the diamond piece sparking rumours that The Impossible star Tom, 28, has popped the question.
‘Not saying this is an engagement ring but Zendaya and Tom getting engaged without “announcing” it seems very on brand,’ MadameFowler wrote on X.
Tom and Zendaya have often kept their relationship out of the spotlight, confirming they were dating in 2021 after being spotted kissing in public.
‘Streets are saying Zendaya is engaged and suddenly life is worth living,’ Cinesnoopy gushed.
Carouselrrry wrote: ‘Zendaya soft launching her and Tom’s engagement man who gaf about these awards let’s talk about this.’
Others went as far as saying they ‘prayed’ for this to happen and that the couple’s supposed engagement had ‘made their 2025.’
‘Finding out that Zendaya has a tiny “t” tattoo and an engagement ring was not on my Golden Globes bingo card 😭😭 I’m so happy for my girl,’ 4folklovermore posted, referring to a sideboob tattoo of Zendaya’s visible at the event that seems to show a small ‘t’.
Tom recently made a sweet admission about his and Zendaya’s relationship, dubbing her the ‘best thing that has ever happened to him.’
In an interview with Nick Grimshaw, he told Tom that he heard that Zendaya enjoyed working with him as it meant they had the same schedule.
‘Studios love it, one hotel room,’ Tom replied to peals of laughter from the crew at the Dish Podcast.
He then joked: ‘Separate drivers. We’re not crazy now. Listen it’s work, alright?!’
On a serious note, he then said: ‘Oh God, yeah. It’s a saving grace.
‘But it’s just that perfect thing when you’re on set and a director will give you a note that maybe you don’t agree with, or I know that she doesn’t particularly like, and it’s just that like familiar glance at each other of like, can’t wait to talk about that later.’
