Elle’s Women in Hollywood 2024 was a star-studded night celebrating actresses who we’re likely to see a lot of this award season.

On Nov. 19, stars gathered in Los Angeles to celebrate a long list of A-list guests on the carpet and honored some of the biggest names in entertainment this past year. The honorees were The Substance star Demi Moore, The Piano Lesson’s Danielle Deadwyler, Blitz star Saoirse Ronan, Wicked’s Cynthia Erivo, Anora breakout star Mikey Madison, Emilia Pérez co-stars Selena Gomez, Zoe Saldaña and Karla Sofía Gascón, and, lastly, The Room Next Door co-stars Julianne Moore and Tilda Swinton.
“Being in this moment with these women [talking] about a movie that’s so important and moving and beautiful, it’s been a wow moment for me,” Gomez reflected on the success of her musical movie to Elle earlier this month. “I definitely didn’t expect all of what’s happening. It just feels like a time in my life that I’m extremely grateful for. Honestly, every day I wake up thinking, ‘How did I get to do this?'”
