50 Cent trended all over the world following his Super Bowl 2022 performance but according to the G-Unit boss, Jay-Z tried to stop him from hitting the halftime stage.
50 claimed that he’d already had solid partnerships with other wealthy businessmen and that Jay did not want him to have a seat at a bigger table.
Jay reportedly told Eminem that the NFL had an issue with him but 50 says that was never the case.
“This is why I was saying I knew what old boy was doing with the Super Bowl. Because he was doing some slick sh-t. He was doing some wild sh-t, Cam,” he told Cam’ron.
“He was saying to Eminem that the NFL had the issue with me. And I’m like, ‘Well, what’s the issue?” he added. “Why don’t they have an issue when I’m becoming a partner with the actual teams? But they have an issue with my actual performance? It makes no sense.’”
