A popular star of a 90s kids TV show has resurfaced on social media nearly 30 years after he first rose to fame.

In a new TikTok, he sighs as he sips coffee on a farm while wearing a flannel shirt, glasses and yellow hat.

Steve Burns - who charmed children as Steve on Blue's Clues from 1996 to 2002 - looks completely different from his days on Nickelodeon.

The actor, now 51, doesn't say a word in the 59-second video, but offers a toast and a shy smile to followers.

Many fans took the clip to be a message of comfort after the shocking US presidential election earlier in the week.

"I bet you didn’t think you’d still be raising us all these years later, Steve, but thank you for still being here," one follower wrote in the comments.

"He didn’t say a word and said everything at the same time," another chimed in. "This man should be guarded at all costs and I also want to marry him."

"I started crying as soon as I saw your face," said a third. "You seem to just show up at the exact time you’re needed. Thank you, Steve."

NEW OFFSCREEN LIFE

Steve left Blue's Clues in 2002 to get an education, he once said.

“I just kinda got up and went to college," he said.

"And that was really challenging by the way, but great because I got to use my mind and take a step at a time and now I literally am doing many of the things that I wanted to do.”

He also admitted he didn't want to star on a children's TV show while balding.

“I knew I wasn't going to be doing children's television all my life, mostly because I refused to lose my hair on a kid's TV show, and it was happening fast," he said on a Nick Jr. TV special.

Steve eventually pursued music, and released multiple albums and singles- including the theme song for the sitcom Young Sheldon.

Though Steve spends most of his time in the Catskill mountains, he also reportedly lives in New York City.
