Amanda Batula, Ciara Miller poke fun at ‘fan fiction’ gossip after Paige DeSorbo shuts down rumors about her split

They’re laughing off the gossip.

Amanda Batula and Ciara Miller exclusively spoke to Page Six about the constant rumors they face being in the public eye. The discussion came just weeks after their “Summer House” co-star Paige DeSorbo denied some of the “fan fiction” she’s read about her recent breakup from Craig Conover.

“We’ve all been on the other side of it where it’s so obviously rumors,” Batula told us over Zoom while promoting her and Miller’s collaboration with KIND Snacks. “There’s been so many rumors about us all individually that any headline [that] comes out, I’m just like, ‘This is ridiculous.’”

Miller agreed, joking that they find it “kind of fun” to see what rumors fans are spreading online about her and her friends.

“It’s like, ‘Oh my God, what else can they make up?’” Miller, 29, said, admitting that the fans get “so creative” with the theories they produce.

“We really have to commend the creativity and the thought process that goes into everything, because that’s admirable,” she continued. “They should write a book.”

Batula, 33, added, “I’m telling you, the fan fiction is wild!”

Miller acknowledged, however, that it’s different for her and her co-stars to watch “everyone comment and speculate,” because they know the “inside details” about what’s going on with their cast members.

“It’s crazy, though,” Batula told us. “Those headlines and those ridiculous things are literally never true.”

When asked if there was anything they’d heard about themselves over the years that stood out, Batula pointed out past stories speculating on her marriage to Kyle Cooke and their future.

“I think I’ve been pregnant, like, five different times,” Batula joked. “And Kyle and I are always getting divorced!”

Meanwhile, Miller told us she has dealt with a lot of people assuming she had “plastic surgery” or her “boobs done” — which she now takes as a compliment.

“I think that is the best,” she quipped. “Thank you!”

DeSorbo, 32, recently found herself combatting the rumor mill following her split from Craig Conover. She notably called one particular rumor about her “ruin[ing]“ a proposal from Conover “fan fiction.”

The “Giggly Squad” podcast co-host also shut down rumors that she “cheated” on the “Southern Charm” star with “Saturday Night Live” comedian Marcello Hernandez.

DeSorbo admitted on “Giggly Squad” that she even texted Hernandez –– whom she became friendly with through her co-host and close friend Hannah Berner –– to apologize for the rumors.

Batula and Miller’s interview with Page Six comes amid their partnership with KIND Snacks. The two teamed up with the brand as a way to elevate their favorite pastime of “bed rotting” — a social media trend that involves staying in bed for extended periods of time as a form of self-care.

“Bed rotting can get such a bad rap, but KIND really gets it, and everything in moderation,” Batula explained. “Bed rotting is good and good for you, and KIND bars are the perfect snack for bed rotting, because they leave no mess and no crumbs.”

Miller agreed, adding,” We’re decompressing. We’re taking time for ourselves. People think that it’s bad. It’s not. It is your quality time. Light your candles, set the mood for yourself, get your favorite snacks.”
