Amanda Holden has unveiled her first ever tattoo, much to the dismay of her husband. The 53-year-old mum-of-two proudly displayed two tiny hearts inked on the inside of her wrist during her Heart Breakfast show.
She explained that she decided to get the tattoo spontaneously while in Hollywood for Halloween with her daughter Holly and best friend Jane, expressing delight at the outcome. However, upon returning home and cooking a roast dinner for her other daughter, Lexi, her husband Chris Hughes noticed the tattoo and was not pleased.
Amanda shared: "Obviously, my 18-year-old is home, I made a roast dinner. I was pretending to mop my brow because my tattoo is actually just on my wrist. Because, you know, I was sort of slaving over a stove as I was talking to Chris.
"I had my hand like that, just nothing. Anyway, Holly was losing her mind because she was obviously present for the tattoo moment, which didn't hurt and took less than 30 seconds. Anyway, in the end, we told Chris."
"First, he would say, it looks fake. Second, he said it looks naff. And third, he said: 'Oh, what's going to happen next? Where else are you going to get one? What else are you going to do?'" The two hearts symbolise her daughters, Hollie and Lexi, and Amanda revealed plans to add another little heart beneath her tattoo, presumably representing her husband.
Chris recently gave his glamorous wife a stern talking-to, telling her "you've got to stop" after she made a controversial admission. Amanda revealed that she had completed her Christmas shopping in October, with the last package expected to arrive on Wednesday, reports the Mirror.
The Britain's Got Talent judge was thrilled to share the news on her breakfast show, but her husband Chris seemed less impressed. She told her listeners that her home was now brimming with "so many packages" due to her early festive preparations.

Amanda's revelation came after a caller named Ashley expressed her excitement at seeing her first Christmas tree of winter 2024 while in a traffic jam on Old Kent Road in London.
This led Amanda to disclose: "Everything's going up in my house on November 15. I might go even earlier. And I've finished my Christmas shopping. That's what I told my husband because there's so many packages in my house, he's like 'gosh Mandy, you've got to stop, you're haemorrhaging'. And I went: 'I've finished my Christmas shopping' and I looked him in the eye when I said it. I've done, I've basically nearly finished it."
Amanda and music producer Chris have been an item since 2004 after meeting in Los Angeles the previous year.
They married in 2008 and live in their plush Surrey mansion with their two daughters.
